I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
