I have wagered on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
