I have gambled on countless of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
