I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
