I have wagered on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
