I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
