I have bet on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
